OUR STORY
Founded in 2006 as “Exotic Marinedo” by visionary brothers Ahmed and Ali Mujah, the company initially focused on providing logistics solutions for developing resorts. After a decade of successful operations from a modest workshop in K. Thilafushi, the entry of Ibrahim Mujah in 2016 catalyzed a significant evolution. The rebranding of “Exotic Marinedo” to Marinedo signified a strategic shift towards leading the steel fabrication sector in the Maldives, driven by a commitment to innovation and excellence.
DIVERSIFICATION
Throughout the years, Marinedo has significantly expanded and diversified its portfolio of products and services. Our offerings range from vessel fabrication and heavy vehicle and equipment rental to comprehensive logistics operations and project management. Each service is underpinned by Marinedo’s profound expertise in steel fabrication.
In 2016, Marinedo ventured into the retail sector with the establishment of Kokky Toy Shop, which focuses on providing high-quality toys and educational materials for children. Currently, Kokky operates four retail locations throughout the Greater Malé region.
PRESENT
By 2025, Marinedo will enhance its vessel fabrication with the launch of the LC450 – Marinedo Foxtrot, a 450-ton landing craft debuting in Q1 2025.
Production of the B200 series spud barges is ongoing, with new fuel boats set to start manufacturing this year.
